A Missing Person in the Yosemite Wilderness Adventure Book

The Fresno County Search & Rescue Helicopter hovered several hundred feet above my head. Completely invisible to the infrared camera, due to the insane amount of radiant heat that granite produces, I would not be rescued. It's been almost 2 years since I was a "missing person" on the South Fork of the Tuolumne River in Yosemite National Park, California. Read how I survived 60 hours wearing board shorts, a hat, a pair of glasses and one flip flop in some of the most gorgeous, yet treacherous terrain on the West Coast. This is an against all odds true life story filled with adversity, courage, despair, and triumph. And most importantly, ADVENTURE! Here's the MyMotherLode newspaper article, to offer a glimpse into the whole ordeal. And OutsideOnlines' How Backcountry Search and Rescue Works blog post paints a great picture of the obstacles I faced.
